Learning Content

This good dream blog aims to teach a student with knowledge of why sleep is important under this Pandemic time and understand what elements are impact our sleep healthy during this time. This blog can be used to share with learners that 12+ with access to the internet through wifi or phone data. Healthy Sleep tips can apply to all age groups and can be used for any population. 

Inclusive Learning

In the blog design, we have considered two groups of learners: English Language Learner (ELL) and the person who does not have access to a computer at home but have a mobile phone with a data plan. As English are second language to all the team members, we have chosen to use simple wordings to help our ELL learners to understand our modules. Secondly, when we designed our education website, we have using Wix.com’s feature to check if our content display normally under the mobile model to ensure mobile learners have the best experiences. Moreover, although we have included multiple videos in our module, they are all optional to learning content. Most of the important points are writing in words. For user using data plan they can skip the videos without influence their learning process.

Learning Outcome

There are a total of 3 modules, each has its own main outcome with different sub-outcomes:

  • Understand the importance of sleeping in general and under certain situation (e.g. Pandemic)

  • Describe and evaluate the impact of stress on sleep

  • Analysis of the difference between sleep disrupts and sleep disorders

  • List and explain different types of sleep disorders and their symptoms

  • Apply healthy sleep tips in their daily life

    • Understand what is a sleep disorder

    • List different types of sleep order

    • Have a better understanding of their sleeping status
